1998 SECTION B MINIATURE MARE, 8.3H

Jewel is our smallest equine resident at 35" tall and chief babysitter. She came to our farm in 2002 when Bue and Tarzan were the sole residents and they needed company when I took one of them away for a lesson or a show.

She has done her job admirably and has the personal size distortion of a terrier, so in her mind she is 18.3H and not 8.3H! She is absolutely fabulous at raising and disciplining youngsters so her latest assignment is on turnout with EMC Ghenoa in preparation for the foal's arrival. She has also graduated to teaching Hannah the finer points of leading and grooming.

The first out and the last in, we can always count on Jewel to keep everyone calm and in good company.
